Santa Fe’s Fourth of July, back for 2027
The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe and the City of Santa Fe are bringing Independence Day back to Franklin E. Miles Park for America’s 251st birthday. Here’s what last year looked like.
What’s coming for 2027
We’re planning now. Each piece goes up on this page as soon as it’s confirmed, and people on the mailing list hear about it first.
- The main stage lineup and schedule of events
- The fireworks and sky show plan
- Road closures around the park
- Parking areas, free shuttle locations, and the event map
Live near the park?
This celebration happens in your neighborhood, and we want your input before the plan is final. We’ll hold a neighborhood pre-planning meeting this winter and announce it on this page, through the City, and by mail to credentialed households.
Residents in the neighborhood zone receive a Neighborhood Credential Pass. Visit the neighbor page or call (855) ZOZOBRA for the password.
Plan ahead
Arrive early
Roads around the park close in the late afternoon. Give yourself extra time, follow traffic control to designated lots, and please don’t park on residential streets.
Ride the shuttle
We expect to run free shuttles from nearby school and campus lots again. Pickup locations will be posted with the 2027 map.
Prepare pets and little ones
Fireworks at this scale can be heard a mile or two away. Keep pets indoors, and let children and anyone sensitive to noise know what to expect.
