ZOZOBRA FANS WITH ACCESS OR FUNCTIONAL NEEDS AND SENIORS, WE WILL TAKE YOU THERE!
Zozobra wants ALL of his fans on the field, and that includes gloom-busters who are seniors or who have accessibility challenges. Park free at the State of New Mexico South Capitol parking lot at St. Francis and Cordova Road. A free ADA shuttle dedicated to our access-challenged and senior fans will deliver you to the correct accessible gate at Fort Marcy Park. Please be sure to choose that shuttle and note the drop-off location, which is where the shuttle will pick you up after the event. Because our access-challenged and senior patrons may need more time to exit the field, the return shuttle will depart 30 minutes after the lights go back on when the event ends.
THE NEW MEXICO RAILRUNNER HAS A SPECIAL ZOZOBRA SCHEDULE!
Zozobra fans down south, ride the New Mexico Railrunner Express and skip the driving hassle! On Friday, August 31, 2018, the Rail Runner Express will adjust the train schedule so people can easily attend the 94th Annual Burning of Zozobra. Passengers traveling to Santa Fe for the event can take advantage of a later post-event departure time, as well as the addition of a second late-night southbound train. Shuttles take passengers from the South Capitol Station to Ft. Marcy Park, and then back to the station after the celebration, where the last train is held until all ticketed passengers have boarded.
