The spirit of the Kiwanis mission is to serve the children of the world. Zozobra is a family-focused event, this year, we’ve teamed up with Law Enforcement and the New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department to help ensure Zozobra is fun for the entire family. If you are attending with children or youth, please make a priority to visit the Find My Family booth to register your children just in case you get separated. Getting lost is scary, booth workers will ensure to make sure children are safe until reunited with their families.

Note: The Find My Family booth does not provide childcare services outside of keeping each child safe until their parent arrives.

Visit the Find My Family Booth upon your arrival or save time and Pre-Register below! Just look for the CYFD tent in Major’s Field to pick up wrist band(s) for your child(ren).

TIPS for Parents, Custodians, Guardians, or Responsible Parties:

Visit the booth upon arrival to ensure your child(ren) know where the booth is located
Come up with a plan
Make sure your phone is available and easy to receive notifications
Talk to your kids about stranger danger and where it is safe to seek help

How Do I Register?

While you can register at the booth, we encourage you to pre-register below.

We will provide wristbands for your kids that include the parent(s) name(s) and cell phone numbers. This information will match our documents, and this is how we will get in touch with you.

How will I know if my child is at the Find My Family Booth?

If we see a lost child, or a child comes to the booth on their own, CYFD workers will work with law enforcement to contact the phone number on file for the child. Please be sure to provide the phone number that you will be using at the event. Please remember your number because we will refer to our documents to ensure the information matches. Don’t forget your cell phone or your identification.

What if I don’t register my child and we get separated?

If we find a child who has been separated from family but who doesn’t have a wristband, we will bring them to the Find my Family booth and notify our staff as well as stage announcers (if applicable) to help find the person our found child is describing. This is why it is very important to register your child. That way, we can get in touch with you immediately.
