Thank you so much for volunteering for the 100th Burning of Zozobra! We’re thrilled to have you with us for this historic event. Below is all the information you need for a successful and enjoyable experience.
**Identification Requirements:**
- **Volunteer T-Shirt and Credential:** Both are required to identify you as a legitimate volunteer. If you don’t have either, please return to the volunteer check-in booth for your T-shirt and contact your supervisor for your credential.
**Location and Maps:**
Maps are included in your email.
**Weather Preparedness:**
- Our event is weather-dependent. Please dress appropriately, stay hydrated, and use sunscreen if needed. Link to forecast
**Safety Measures:**
- Your safety and the safety of attendees are our top priorities. If you see an unattended bag or disruptive individual, notify security personnel in yellow vests with orange trim marked “Phoenix Security” or contact a police officer.
- Below is a list of non-allowable items and important event times. Please do not share these times with the public but be aware of road closures and other logistical details.
**Food Arrangements:**
- **Northern Venue (Majors Field or Fort Marcy Ballpark):** Food is available at the concession stand next to the grandstand.
- **Outside Perimeter (Paseo de Peralta):** Access free food trucks in the back of the Montezuma parking lot by showing your T-shirt and credential to the guard in the alley between the pink building and the parking lot. Private Porta Potty access is also available here.
